Experience

Which machines and plants do we service?

We have extensive experience servicing and maintaining machines in aluminium plants and in food and beverage plants, including machines and equipment from other builders, not only systems we built.

Aluminium plants
Service and maintenance for machines and equipment on aluminium production lines: control, electrical and drive faults, preventive maintenance and upgrades.
Food and beverage plants
Machine service in edible-oil, salad and soft-drink plants, on lines that run in shifts and where every stop delays shipments.
Machines from other builders
Machines and equipment built by others, not only our own systems. We start from the controller, the wiring and whatever documentation exists, even if it's partial.
Machine builders abroad
If you've installed machines in Israeli plants and need local service engineers: diagnosis, repairs and preventive maintenance to your documentation and procedures, reporting to your team.
Automated saw lines
Many automated saw lines at an aluminium plant, mostly built in Taiwan, were delivered with no documentation or vendor support. We worked them out and had them back in operation in under one business day.

The service

What does the service include?

Service starts with a diagnosis and ends with a report: what we found, what we fixed and what to do next. We cover controls, electrics and drives, and coordinate the mechanical side when needed.

  • Fault diagnosis

We start from what the machine shows: alarms, the PLC fault log, electrical measurements and the sequence. We look for the cause, not just reset the fault.

Output: Root cause and a recommended fix

  • PLC and HMI fixes

Changes to the PLC program and operator interface, after a backup of the current version. Every change is documented.

Output: Backup, corrected version and a change record

  • Electrics, sensors and drives

Finding shorts and worn contacts, replacing panel components, sensors, VFDs and drives, and setting their parameters to suit the machine.

Output: Updated schematics and backed-up drive parameters

  • Mechanical coordination

For mechanical faults we diagnose with your maintenance team and order machined parts from the manufacturers we work with, including in Israel for urgent jobs.

Output: A specification or drawing for the replacement part

  • Preventive maintenance

Periodic checks matched to the machine and what wears on it: connections, sensors, panel fans and filters, backups and parameters.

Output: A checklist and a report for each visit

  • A report after every visit

What was found, what was fixed, which parts were replaced and what to plan next, kept in a technical log for each machine.

Output: Visit report and technical log

Unsupported machines

The builder no longer supports the machine: what now?

The builder has closed, doesn't answer or has no one in Israel. It's common with older machines: the machine is usually still sound, but nobody knows the controls anymore.

  • Backup: we copy the PLC program, the HMI and the drive parameters, if they can be read, and leave a copy with you.
  • Survey: an I/O list, the sequence of operations, updated electrical schematics, and a list of obsolete components with replacements.
  • Retrofit path: when the PLC or drives are no longer available, we plan a control retrofit that keeps the mechanics and reproduces the existing behaviour, during a planned shutdown and with a rollback plan.

Many automated saw lines at an aluminium plant had also been delivered with no documentation or vendor support, and we had them back in operation in under one business day.

Ways to get service

Ongoing service or a one-off call-out?

You can call us out when there's a fault, or work under a service plan. Either way, we usually reply within 3 working hours, by email or phone.

  • Call-out: you report the fault, an engineer gets back to you, and after a first check by phone or photos we come to the plant to diagnose and fix it.
  • Service plan: a monthly bank of hours for diagnostics, preventive maintenance and upgrades, priority on service calls, wear parts planned in advance, and a technical log with a periodic report for each machine. For machine builders abroad, the plan can cover your installed base in Israel.

The scope of a plan is set by the machines and the risk, and appears in a written proposal. You can cancel the plan at any time with one month's notice. The plan also covers after-hours and weekend call-outs, so a line that can't afford to stop isn't left waiting until the next working day.

A well-kept technical log is also a good basis for an AI agent that triages maintenance requests and drafts work orders, with human approval. AI agents for manufacturing

Machine service and maintenance: FAQ

A machine has stopped the line. What do we do?

Call or message us with a description, and a photo or video of the fault and the alarm screen. We usually reply within 3 working hours, and sometimes we can guide your team to a temporary fix on the call. Then we arrange a visit to diagnose and repair.

Plants on a service plan get priority on service calls, after hours and at weekends too.

Which PLCs do you work with?

Siemens, LS Electric (formerly LSIS), Unitronics and Controllino, with EtherCAT, Modbus, CAN bus, FDCAN, RS-485 and RS-232. For another brand, we ask for the model and software version and check access to the program and the programming tools before we come.

Where in Israel do you work?

We service plants in Israel. Visits are arranged by location and urgency, and some faults can be diagnosed remotely first, from photos, videos and PLC files.

Automation and service for manufacturers

What if a spare part is no longer made?

We find an alternative: an equivalent component from another maker, a current drive or PLC that replaces the old one, or a mechanical part remade from measurements or a drawing. Machined parts come from the manufacturers we work with, including local manufacturers in Israel for urgent jobs.

Do we get a report after every visit?

Yes. Each visit ends with a report: what was found, what was fixed, which parts were replaced, any program changes and what to plan next. Reports are kept in a technical log for each machine, so the history is there next time, even if a different engineer comes.

We're a machine builder abroad with machines in Israel. Can you service them?

Yes. We can act as your local service engineers in Israel: fault diagnosis and repair, preventive maintenance and start-up support, working to your documentation and procedures and reporting to your team in English. Scope, priorities and responsibilities are agreed in the contract.

Tell us what's happening with the machine, and an engineer will reply

Describe the machine, its builder and the fault, and what you've tried so far. A photo of the alarm screen or the control panel helps us diagnose faster.
