Conceptech Engineering: an engineering company in Israel
We develop hardware products and prototypes, build and service factory automation, and implement AI agents. Conceptech was founded in 2015, and for each project we bring in specialist engineers as it needs them.
What we do
What does Conceptech Engineering do?
Three service lines with the same engineering approach: clear scoping, a deliverable at every phase and testing before handover.
Hardware product development: electronics and PCB design, firmware and mechanics, from a working prototype to manufacturing readiness and FCC, CE and UL preparation. More on hardware product development. With hardware startups we work from proof of concept to a first batch: hardware development for startups.
Automation for plants: custom machines, machine vision for quality control, test stations and motion control, plus service and maintenance for machines from other builders. AI agents for businesses and plants: our newest service line, run with the same discipline as our automation projects, where a system is tested in our lab before it reaches site. Who leads our engineering work?
Eli Agronov · Lead Engineer, Conceptech Engineering
Eli Agronov is technically accountable for every project. He previously held roles in robotics at Mentee Robotics (acquired by Mobileye), in automotive at General Motors and in smart mobility at NoTraffic. These were employee roles; Conceptech's own projects are on the Projects page.

How we staff
How is the team for each project put together?
For each project we bring in specialist engineers only in the disciplines it needs, with no permanent bench waiting for the next job. One lead engineer is accountable for the result from start to finish.

How we work
How do we work, in practice?
One phase at a time, with your approval
Each phase ends with a defined deliverable and a joint decision on whether to continue. We estimate each phase's duration after the initial evaluation, not before.
In practice: A written proposal for each phase, with scope, deliverables and a time estimate. File rights are agreed in each project's contract.
Tested by us before it reaches you
A prototype is designed from day one to be manufactured and certified: protection, grounding, component choice and documentation. A plant system is tested in our lab before it ships.
In practice: For an Israeli building-products plant, the control cabinet was assembled and tested in our lab before it was integrated on site.

Questions about Conceptech
Who works on my project?
A Conceptech lead engineer runs every project from the first call to handover and stays your technical point of contact. Specialist engineers join only in the disciplines the project needs: for example PCB design, firmware, mechanics, controls or software.
Do you have a permanent team?
Conceptech works with specialist engineers who join each project in the disciplines it needs, and a lead engineer who is technically accountable for the whole project. You get exactly the expertise required, without a permanent team that isn't working on your project.
How quickly do you reply?
We usually reply within 3 working hours, by email or phone. In your first message, tell us briefly what you're building or what needs fixing, and attach a photo, drawing or spec if you have one.
Do you sign an NDA?
Yes. We sign an NDA on request when the project calls for it. That's common in product development and research work, where you need to share an idea, drawings or code. Not every job needs one: a simple wiring job at a plant, for example, doesn't.
Who owns the design files and IP?
Ownership of design files, code and IP is agreed in the contract for each project, before work starts. That way it's settled and documented before the first phase.
Do you work with companies outside Israel?
Yes. We work with founders and companies abroad through remote collaboration, with English-speaking engineering throughout, and we welcome partnerships. Calls, documents and written communication can run in English, Hebrew or Russian for the whole project.
