Accessibility statement
Last updated:
Conceptech Engineering wants this website to be easy to use for everyone who visits it, including people with disabilities. This statement describes what we’ve done, how we test, what isn’t perfect yet, and how to contact us when something doesn’t work.
What accessibility level does the site aim for?
The site is designed and built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
Israeli law, in regulation 35 of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, requires websites to meet Israeli Standard IS 5568 at level AA. That standard is based on WCAG 2.0. Version 2.2 builds on the 2.0 requirements and adds more, so our target goes beyond what the law requires.
What have we done to make the site accessible?
- Keyboard navigation: every link, button and field can be reached without a mouse. Each page starts with a “Skip to main content” link.
- Visible focus: the element you reach with the keyboard is marked with a clear outline.
- Colour contrast: contrast meets level AA in both the dark and the light theme.
- Reduced motion: a “Reduce motion” button sits at the bottom of every page, and the site also respects your device’s reduced-motion setting.
- Colour theme: you can switch to a light theme at the bottom of every page.
- Hebrew and English: Hebrew pages read right to left and English pages left to right. Each page declares its language in the code, so screen readers read it in the right language.
- Text alternatives: images have text descriptions that screen readers announce.
- Accessible form: every field has a label, and errors are shown in text next to the field and in a summary at the top of the form, not by colour alone. The form has no image puzzles.
- Small screens and zoom: the site adapts to screens from 320 pixels wide, so you can zoom in without scrolling sideways.
Why is there no accessibility widget?
This is deliberate. Accessibility widgets, the toolbars or corner icons seen on many sites, don’t change a page’s code or fix structural problems, and they can conflict with the assistive technology you already use. On this site, accessibility is built into the code itself.
Your browser and operating system tools work as usual: zoom, high-contrast modes, screen readers and larger text.
How do we test accessibility?
- Automated checks with axe-core run on every build of the site.
- Manual checks of keyboard navigation.
We carry out these checks ourselves. When we add pages or components, we test them the same way.
What isn’t fully accessible yet?
We work to keep the whole site accessible, but some parts may not be perfect yet:
- Images from the old site: project photos from our previous website will be added later. We’ll add text descriptions to them, but an image may go live before its description is complete.
- Third-party content: Cloudflare’s security check on the contact page isn’t under our control and may be only partly accessible.
If any of this gets in your way, contact us directly by email or phone instead of using the form.
How do you report an accessibility problem?
We’d like to hear about any difficulty you have with the site. Our accessibility coordinator:
- Eli Agronov
- Email: info@conceptech.co.il
- Phone: +972 52‑521‑2844
To help us fix it quickly, please tell us:
- which page the problem is on;
- what you were trying to do and what happened;
- which device, browser or assistive technology you used, if relevant.
We’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Is there a public reception office?
Conceptech has no office that receives the public. We serve clients by phone, by email, remotely and at their sites.
When was this statement updated?
