Privacy policy
Last updated:
This policy explains what personal data Conceptech Engineering collects through this website, why, where it is stored, for how long, and what your rights are. We’ve written it in plain language. If you have any questions, email us at info@conceptech.co.il.
What are the key points?
- We collect personal data only when you send an enquiry through the contact form, and only to reply to you and to protect the form from spam.
- We don’t sell your data, share it with anyone for marketing, or add you to mailing lists.
- Enquiries are stored in a Cloudflare database in the European Union and deleted automatically after 90 days.
- The site has no advertising or tracking cookies. For visit statistics we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and builds no personal profiles; we see only aggregate figures.
- You can ask to access, correct or delete your data by emailing info@conceptech.co.il.
Who is responsible for your data?
The controller of your data (the “database controller” under Israeli law) is Conceptech Engineering, a licensed dealer (osek murshe) in Israel.
- Email: info@conceptech.co.il
- Phone: +972 52‑521‑2844
What data do we collect?
Through the contact form
When you send an enquiry, we store:
- your full name;
- your email address;
- your phone number, if you choose to give it;
- your company or organisation, if you choose to give it;
- the area you chose from the list;
- if you chose AI agents, the optional answers about the process, picked from fixed lists: whether you’d like to start with a Discovery or check if your process fits the AI pilot, which process, how often it happens and which systems it involves;
- your message;
- the language of the page you sent it from, and that page’s address on the site, without any extra parameters;
- the time it was sent.
To protect against spam and abuse
- We turn your connection’s IP address into a salted one-way hash, a value that can’t be turned back into the address. It is used only to spot many repeated submissions from the same connection. The IP address itself is never stored, and the hash is deleted after 1 day.
- The contact page runs Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check that tells people from bots. To run the check, Cloudflare processes technical information about your browser and connection. We receive only the result of the check.
What we don’t collect
- We don’t store your full IP address.
- We don’t store details of your browser or device, and we don’t identify your browser by its technical characteristics (browser fingerprinting).
- The site never asks for an ID number, payment details or other sensitive information.
When you browse the site or contact us directly
You can browse every page of the site without giving any details. Cloudflare, our hosting and security provider, processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the site and block attacks, under its own terms. We don’t build visitor logs or profiles from it.
If you contact us directly by email, phone or WhatsApp, we receive only what you choose to share, and we use it only to handle your enquiry.
What do we use the data for?
- To reply to your enquiry and handle the correspondence that follows;
- To protect the form from spam, bots and abuse.
We don’t use your data for marketing, add it to mailing lists or sell it.
Do you have to give us your details?
No. There’s no legal obligation to provide them, and we collect them with your consent when you send the form. However, we can’t reply without your name, email, the area and a short description of your enquiry, which is why those fields are required. Your phone number and company are optional.
Who receives your data?
Only Conceptech. To run the website and our email, we use three service providers, which process data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare: website hosting and content delivery, visit statistics (Web Analytics), the security check on the form, and the database where enquiries are stored.
- Zoho: Conceptech’s mailbox, which we use to correspond with you.
- Resend: sends Conceptech an email notification of each new enquiry, with the details from the form, so we can reply quickly. It is sent only to Conceptech’s own mailbox.
Beyond that, we’ll disclose data to anyone else only if a law or court order requires it.
Where is your data stored, and does it leave Israel?
Enquiries from the form are stored in Cloudflare D1, a database in Conceptech’s own account, set to European Union jurisdiction. The provider encrypts the data at rest.
This means your data is transferred from Israel to EU countries. Such transfers are permitted under the Israeli Privacy Protection (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations, 5761-2001.
Cloudflare serves the website itself from data centres around the world, so that it loads quickly. The notification email of a new enquiry is sent by Resend, an email service based in the United States; Resend keeps a copy of sent emails for a limited period on its servers, which may be in the United States, under its terms of service. Email correspondence is held by Zoho, our email provider, under its terms of service.
How long do we keep your data?
- Form enquiries are deleted automatically from the database after 90 days.
- The IP hash is deleted after 1 day.
- After deletion, the database’s recovery feature may keep a copy for up to 30 more days, after which the data is gone for good.
- Email: the notification email of your enquiry, and our correspondence when we reply, are kept in Conceptech’s mailbox like any business correspondence, and are not deleted automatically after 90 days. You can ask us to delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them.
Does the site use cookies or tracking?
- The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and has no social-media or advertising pixels.
- Settings you choose, such as the light theme or reduced motion, are stored only in your own browser (localStorage) and are never sent to us. Clearing the site’s data in your browser resets them.
- Cloudflare’s security check on the contact page may use strictly necessary technical means in your browser to tell a person from a bot.
- Fonts are served from this site. There are no calls to Google Fonts or any other external font service.
- For visit statistics we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. For each page view, Cloudflare receives technical details: the page address, the page you came from, the browser and device type (from your browser’s user agent), the country (derived from your IP address) and load times. Cloudflare shows us only aggregate statistics. The tool sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, doesn’t identify visitors and doesn’t build personal profiles, and we don’t build profiles from it either. If we add any other tool, we’ll update this policy.
How is your data protected?
- The whole site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
- A strict content security policy limits the code and resources the browser runs on the site.
- Rate limiting and bot protection guard the form.
- The database can be accessed only through Conceptech’s Cloudflare account, with two-factor authentication and least-privilege access.
- IP addresses are not stored, and our server logs contain no personal data.
No system is completely immune. If a security incident ever affects your data, we’ll act as the law requires.
What are your rights, and how do you use them?
Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, you may:
- see the data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct data that is wrong, incomplete or out of date;
- ask us to delete your data;
- object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect use made before you withdrew it.
To use any of these rights, email info@conceptech.co.il, ideally from the address you contacted us from, and tell us what you’d like us to do. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we share or delete data. We’ll respond as required by law.
If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority at the Ministry of Justice.
Is the site intended for minors?
No. The site is intended for businesses and organisations, and we don’t knowingly collect data about minors.
Does this policy change?
We may update it, for example when we add a service provider or an analytics tool. The date at the top of the page shows the last update.
