An AI pilot for one process in your business or plant
An AI agent prepares the work in one process; your team approves it. Discovery and three months of care are included. The goal, measured together: up to three times cheaper than before, compared with the cost of people doing similar work.
Not a fit after Discovery? The pilot ends and you owe nothing
- You get
- A process map and baseline, an agent working in shadow mode, and a written go-live decision
- For
- Companies with one process that eats hours of the team's week, in the office or on the plant floor
- Two tracks
- Office processes, or plant data through a read-only connection
Terms
The pilot terms at a glance
- Places
- Up to two companies at a time.
- Tracks
- Office processes, such as quotes, orders and reports, or plant data through a read-only connection.
- Length
- Three months to a go-live decision, then three months of monthly care included. About a month longer for plant data.
- You cover
- The setup, quoted after a short call and invoiced only after a “go” at decision one; and your own AI model usage, billed by the provider to your own account.
- Included in the pilot
- The Discovery, support and service, and monthly care, for the whole pilot period.
- What we ask
- We measure time and cost per task together against the baseline, and an anonymised account of the pilot is published only with your approval.
If Discovery shows your process isn't a fit, the pilot ends and you owe nothing, including for the setup. The report is yours, whatever you decide.
Fit
Processes that fit the pilot
A good fit meets most of these criteria. Two illustrative examples: supplier quotes arriving by email, which the agent collects into a comparison table; and support emails, for which it drafts a reply.
One process that takes the team hours every week
It runs on text, documents or data
A person can check the result
A process owner to work with us
At a plant: data your machines already record
How it works
Five steps, two written decisions
01
You start here
Pilot agreement
A short call about the process and its systems, a setup quote, and the signed agreement. The setup is invoiced only after a “go” at decision one. The three months count from signing.
No agent yet
02
Discovery, in month one
The same Discovery we offer on its own: process map, baseline, agent design. In the pilot it's included; outside the pilot it's a fixed fee, credited toward monthly care.
No agent yet
Decision one: is your process a fit? If not, the pilot ends and you owe nothing
03
Setup
We build one flow in a test environment, with a dedicated ERP user and a log of every agent action. For plant data: a read-only connection to line data, approved by your IT/OT team.
Agent drafts in a test setup
04
Shadow mode, from month two
Shadow mode: the agent works on your real cases alongside your team, and nothing goes out to a customer or a system. Your team checks every draft or finding against the criteria.
Runs alongside your team, sends nothing
Decision two: did the agent meet the criteria? If not, one tuning period, then you decide
05
Go-live and care
By the end of month three (month four for plant data) you decide on go-live. Then the included monthly care begins, and you approve the key steps.
Agent acts; you approve key steps
What you get at the end of each step
- Pilot agreement
- A setup quote and a signed pilot agreement
- Discovery, in month one
- The Discovery report and written go-live criteria
- Setup
- An agent that passes the test set on real examples
- Shadow mode, from month two
- A side-by-side comparison of the agent's output and the team's work
- Go-live and care
- Monthly report: tasks done, time saved, errors caught at approval
Data
Your data, your control
- What's yours
- Your data, your approved cases and any equipment on your site are yours. So is every report from the pilot, whatever you decide.
- Who approves
- A person approves the key steps, and every action the agent takes is logged. On plant data the connection is read-only, and a write attempt must fail.
- Cloud by default, on site when needed
- By default, a separate environment for each client, which Conceptech runs and maintains. Where the agent needs a physical connection to your machines, or the site is sensitive, it runs on your own equipment.
- Access to your systems
- Your systems are yours to access: on request we give you access right away, after you sign a short acknowledgement of what changing them can affect.
Next
After the pilot: monthly care continues
After the three included months, monthly care continues on our regular terms. Each month we review the process with you: what your team corrected, where it slowed down and what to change next.
- No minimum period; cancel with one month's notice.
- Every change, and every newer AI model, is tested first on the cases you've already approved, including its cost per task. The previous version stays available to switch back to, and moving to a newer model is part of monthly care.
- The next process starts from what's already in place: the connections to your systems, the approval flow, the action log and the way we measure.
Behind the pilot
Who works on your pilot
Behind the pilot is Conceptech Engineering, an engineering company founded in 2015 that builds automation systems running on production lines. Conceptech now also builds AI agents for business processes and plant data, and is now taking its first pilot clients.
Our lead engineer works on each pilot himself, from Discovery to the care after go-live, with specialist engineers brought in as needed.
AI pilot FAQ
What is Conceptech's AI pilot?
Conceptech Engineering's AI pilot is a defined start for an AI agent on one process in a business or plant: three months to a go-live decision (about a month longer for plant data), then three months of monthly care included. The client covers the setup and its own AI model usage.
The pilot starts with a Discovery, moves on to setup and to shadow mode on your real cases, and reaches a written go-live decision. A person approves the key steps throughout.
How long is the pilot?
Three months from the signed pilot agreement to a go-live decision, and from the second month you see the agent work on your real cases in shadow mode. Pilots on plant data take about a month longer, because the read-only connection needs your IT/OT team's approval.
After go-live, three months of monthly care are included. Then monthly care continues on our regular terms, with no minimum period.
What does the pilot cost?
You pay for two things. First, the setup: we quote it after a short call, once we know the process and the systems it connects to, and invoice it only after a “go” at decision one. Second, your own AI model usage, paid directly to the provider on your own account, so you see every charge.
The Discovery, support and service, and the three months of care after go-live are included in the pilot.
What if our process turns out not to fit?
The pilot ends after Discovery, and you owe nothing, including for the setup. That is exactly the pilot's first decision: whether your process suits an AI agent, based on the process map and the baseline we measured.
The report is yours, whatever you decide. You can keep working from it, whether you pick another process or another route.
What do you need from us?
Mainly the process owner's time, and examples. We ask for a process owner who knows the work and checks what the agent prepares with us; 20–100 past cases, sanitised if needed; and read access to, or exports from, the documents and systems the process uses.
For a pilot on plant data, we also need your IT/OT team's approval for the read-only connection.
Where does the agent run, and what about data and privacy?
Usually in the cloud: a separate environment for each client, which Conceptech runs and maintains, with the AI model usage on your own account with the provider. Where a physical connection to your machines is needed, or the site is sensitive, it runs on site, on equipment that belongs to you. Either way, your data and your approved cases are yours.
Monthly care includes technical privacy documentation for the agent: what data it touches, where it's stored and who can access it. It's technical documentation, not legal advice.
Why only two companies?
So that every pilot gets close, hands-on engineering, from Discovery to the care after go-live. At that pace we can take on up to two companies at a time.
What if the places are taken?
You can start with a regular Discovery: exactly the same step, for a fixed fee credited toward your first months of monthly care. Or ask us to let you know when the next pilot round opens.
Does a process eat your team's hours? Check if it fits the pilot
Tell us about the process in a few words, and the systems it runs through. An engineer will reply, and if it looks like a fit, we'll set up a short call and send a setup quote.
Usually a reply within 3 working hours, by email or phone
